Mandy Bing at Lola's Art Room
Arts Quinte West member Mandy Bing displays this month at Lola’s Coffee House in Brighton, in the Art Room.
Mandy Bing specializes in contemporary, expressive portraits, rendered in vibrant, energetic colour. While many of her paintings are commissioned portraits of pets, she also works and studies in the field of figurative art, studying with well-known artist Brian Smith of Toronto (Honourary Drawing Master, Drawing Society of Canada) and at the Haliburton School of the Arts. She has participated in many juried exhibits in the last few years, in both the Hastings and Northumberland region, winning awards for Juror’s Choice, People’s Choice and Innovative Use of Colour. She welcomes commissions for portraiture, both people and pets, and encourages frequent visits to her website, mandybing.com, to view recent paintings and current listings for shows and exhibits. Mandy can be contacted through her website, or at 613-394-6955 or by sending an email to .
