My affair with art started early in life when I was in grade school, eventually I graduated from Humber College with a graphic arts degree. Life then got in the way, as it usually does. twenty plus years and two small children later, my husband suggested I rekindle the fire. This was the best gift he could have given me. I tackled watercolour painting and enjoyed the challenge immensely. I have also recently experimented with acrylics and 3-D objects. Something had been missing in my life and now I feel that I have regained the balance. My family feeds my heart and my art feeds my soul.

Artist's Statement

I have always felt a deep connection with nature, this is where I go to rejuvinate myself. To feel the wind, hear the soft rustle of leaves and discover the vast array of colours. Finding the most luscious hues in the moss on a cloudy day, or the fresh colour of new spring leaves. I never cease to be amazed at how beautiful the earth really is. I feel honoured to be given the opportunity to bring life to my work, with the kaleidoscope of colours that nature inspires. Creating art is an extremely enjoyable experience, each piece of work is unique and challenging. I want to feel something stir my soul when I view it. Art is an expression and an experience.
