Porcelain Repair

Repair of all porcelain, including figurines.

I repair all kinds of porcelain: figurines, vases, dinnerware. The repair is invisible and brings your treasures back to their original appearance. I have worked on valuable pieces, collectables and antiques but I often repair pieces of simple sentimental value. I can replace missing parts too.

Artist's Statement

I work out of my own home in a room converted into a studio. Most of my equipment, tools and materials come from England. The repair is accomplished with epoxy glue and glaze and is colour matched with oil, powder and acrylic. Many times all three types of paint will be used on a single piece. Painting is done with an airbrush and by bristle brush. All airbrush work is done inside a box working through a glass window and sleeves. The process is totally fume free. No firing is involved and all repairs are reversible. The epoxy is cold cured and looks and feels just like the original porcelain.
