“My Theatre” has no walls; nor does it have a stage, seats, or lights. But it is real just the same. I see it in the glow on an actor’s face. I hear it in the applause for a play well done. It hovers in the quiet serenity of a set painter on a Sunday morning. It lives in each of our hearts.
The mandate of The Bay of Quinte Community Players is not only to entertain, we are dedicated to rekindle the spark of creativity in our community; a spark which lies deep within each of us just waiting for an opportunity to surface. If you agree with this, if you agree there are teachers, housewives, plumbers and gifted teens out there with an abundance of talent just waiting to be tapped, I implore you, don’t leave the onus completely on us. Speak up! Support us! Every voice, every positive deed, will bring us closer to our goal.
