Steve Cooper is a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography. (1988). An avid Photographer since the tender age of 9, Steve has since spent the last 55 years augmenting, and improving his techniques. A multiple Award Winner, Steve has gained recognition across Canada for his innovative and evocative images. He, his wife Janet, and 3 awesome cats reside in a custom-designed "Early Ontario" style farmhouse on a verdant golf course property in Brighton, Ontario (A mecca for the Arts in Canada). I now offer Fashion Photography in the Northumberland Region. Save $$$$ versus travelling to Toronto etc.

Artist's Statement

Very simply, I "see" my photographs well in advance of creating them, and devise techniques to present the forthcoming image in a different "light". I "paint" using my cameras as brushes, and light as the active medium.
